(Rogers Park) - Apparently Chicago work crews are getting an early start on construction for the Morse Avenue EL, with viaduct work being done over the Memorial Day weekend.
Work has started a month before schedule.
Street closures include Morse from Wayne to Glenwood, Lunt from Glenwood, and the North bound traffic on Glenwood from Farwell to Lunt. CTA trains are still operating.
Plan your travels with these street closures in mind over the holiday.
Update - May 27, 2012: All streets are now open.
