Preparation work begins at Morse Avenue CTA station

Protective fencing installed May 24, 2012.
(Rogers Park) - While the Morse Avenue CTA train station won't fully be closed until June 29, 2012, early stage work has begun at the far north side Red-line stop, Thursday, May 24, 2012.

Protective fencing has been installed on Lunt and Morse Avenue this morning. The fencing is on both sides of both streets.

Major improvements to the viaduct over the street, track work, platform work and station modernization should take six weeks to complete.

Questions on the project can be addressed to Jeff Wilson, 312-681-2712 or jwilson@transitchicago.com
