Street memorial held in murder victims honor

Memorial for Anthony Scott
(West Ridge) - Unwelcomed crowds gathered together to hold a memorial on the evening of March 22 at Devon and Oakley, for a 19 year old male who got shot in the head March 16, around 9:45 p.m., and was pronounced dead on March 18 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.

Anthony Scott, of the 9100 block of South Perry Avenue, was honored by his fellow 'negative loiterers' - who police say the 'NL's' were representing with their various gang colors to honor Scott on the northside street corner where he got murdered. Ceasefire was on hand for the event, as were the Chicago Police Department.

According to a gang hoodlum message board I monitor, (which is hard to decipher because it's all slang gang talk), Scott was a member of a gang called the Moes, who got caught in the wrong part of town and got shot by the Kings. Retaliation is coming, according to the hoodlum message board website.

The Moes are slang for Black P Stones. Lots of them located in Uptown. Magnolia 7 Wilson has a branch.

Get a life. He can be wherever he wants to be. He was just at the wrong place at the wrong time. The negative things you are saying will not make us stop loving Tony. He was a handsome smart funny and caring person. He was like a brother to me. Show some type of respect to him and his love ones. Its crazy how y'all can just disrespect his family by saying things about without even knowing him.
