Morse and Wayne disturbance quickly solved

(Rogers Park) - Negative loitering has been a hot topic since many positive loiters started forming groups in Rogers Park - and doing positive marching.

Mostly around Pratt and Ashland.

I've done the positive loitering thing, and yes, it works for a week or two, but that's about it. What really works is showing the public on the internet what's going down, real time.

In the week I've been doing this new blog, the negative activity at Morse and Wayne has become very clear for my time-lapse camera.

Who know's, maybe it was going on all along, I just couldn't see it. If this is so, shame on the folks at Act One/Mayne Stage for not exposing this activity before me. After all, they're loaded with camera's looking over the street.

Well, now, with 1334 West Morse torn down, now I can. And here's what I saw today. At 5:03 p.m., police were called to Morse and Wayne for a disturbance.

By 5:04 p.m., the police were on scene at Morse and Wayne, checking out the disturbance. Someone already had their hands behind their head when I looked at the film at 5:05 p.m.

Amazing. Simply amazing.
