(Rogers Park) - I sure hope this headline doesn't come back to haunt me, but with 57% precincts counted, I'm predicting David Fagus will defeat Jim Ginderske - handily.
Fagus holds a commanding lead, 1,586 to 664 in 22 of the 38 precincts counted.
I asked Fagus about Ginderske's bold claims about winning around 6:40 p.m., tonight. Fagus confidently responded "we'll see about that in a 20 minutes..."
My internal polling had Fagus winning with 60% of the vote. Fagus is running much higher than that at the moment.
