(Rogers Park) - As the gay media has painted this race, it's the lesbian vs. lesbian. As we see it in the 49th ward, it's Paula Basta versus Kelly Cassidy.
With-in a few hours we'll know who won. One precinct is reporting in. Cassidy has a 83 to 69 lead in the vote count. We'll stay with this race until we get a winner. We've got 90 precincts to go.
Update - 7:32 p.m.: 17 of 91 precincts counted. Cassidy 970 - Basta 599.
Update - 7:36 p.m.: 43 of 91 counted. Cassidy 2,764 - Basta 1,625.
