(Rogers Park) - There are calls to 911 being reported for "shots fired" at Howard and Aahland on April 19, 2012, around 8:00 p.m. A male/black, about 21 years old, is the victim of the shooting. He was shot in the foot.
Police are looking for 2 male/blacks, 18 to 23 years old, 5 foot 7 inches to 5 foot 9 inches tall. The alleged offenders fled south on Ashland to Rogers.
Police are saying the actual address of the shooting was 7531 North Ashland. Right across the street from the Gale Community Center.
One witness said the offenders fled in a white SUV.
The victim is heading to St. Francis Hospital.
UPDATE: This shooting is alleged to be part of the Morse vs. Howard gang war currently going on.

Went past there at 9:00PM.
The cops had Ashland closed off from Rogers to Howard, with crime scene tape in an area about 100 feet south of Howard to maybe 100 feet south of that & from one side of Ashland to the other.
They also had a dark SUV stopped in front of Walgreen's on Rogers west of Clark with all the passengers, who were black males, spread out on the side of their SUV.
I guess I'll be waiting for the retaliation this weekend...
