First look daytime photos of the fire aftermath on Greenview

The back porch, where the fire
was to have said to be started.
UPDATE: The back side of the building. New porch wood already in place to rebuild...
(Rogers Park) - An extra-alarm blaze, March 10, 2012, at Greenleaf and Greenview has gutted at least one unit entirely. The top floor of the 7054 North Greenview address reveals this morning the roof is gone.

The fire did restart up this morning on the back-end of the building.

According to reports, 30 people have been displaced. Neighbors were seen outside on the cell phones. Window board-up trucks and insurance adjusters are milling around.

The sky is seen through the window in back.
BLOGNOTES: What's strange is why there are all these new wood planks and boards are on the ground, right next to the building. Either work was being done on the back porch area, or work was going to be done on the back porches.

I couldn't find any city building permits for this address.

Or; they are ready to rebuild the porches that just caught fire last night. Amazing, huh? The porch rebuild team was quicker than the window board-up trucks, waiting like vultures on the street in front of the building.

If the fire started on the back porch, and there were no permits to rebuild the back porch area, but there are already wood boards in place to rebuild the back porch area, I believe there's more to this story than meets the eye.

New wood boards ready to rebuild after the fire?
