(Rogers Park) - A male waiting at the bus stop for a bus on April 5, around 1:55 p.m., at Sherwin and Sheridan got jumped by 5 male blacks.
The offenders pulled up in a green and white Astro van, jumped out and started beating the victim without warning. The vicious attack was enough to leave the victim bloody and batter.
A cell phone was taken in the beaten. A witness said not only did the Astro van's offenders involved, a female black pulled up in a black SUV and a male black jumped out and helped in the beating.
The offenders fled west on Sherwin. EMS was called to the scene.
UPDATE: They've got some possibly subjects who fit this crime by Howard. Victim is going to check it out.
