Police called to St. Scholastica Academy for dismissal

(West Ridge) - In wake of devastating news on March 14 regarding the St. Scholastica Academy closing at the end of the school year, Chicago Police were called to 7416 North Ridge for afternoons school dismissal; mainly to calm the nerves of some very upset and irate parents.

Sister Patricia Crowley also wanted the Chicago Police to keep the many television news camera's stationed outside the school at bay, as the news hungry reporters wanted to pester the disgruntled parents into telling real sad stories of abandonment by the school - in hopes of some great ratings for their respected bosses channels, for the evening news.

As this is the first time I've ever had to cover a school disruption during any dismissal at St. Scholastica, I'll keep you posted if anything more crazy develops.

So, had I included the Catholic Girl's song by Frank Zappa in this post, would have it been any less boring for you?

It would've helped ....big time!

There is a Zappa for every subject or season, rhyme or reason.

All of the news crews wouldn't have been there if Blago didn't make a big deal out of it in his swan song speech.....before tail draggin' off to Littleton Penitentiary...no relation.
